About Me

Born in Colombia, with an American father and a Colombian mother, I grew up in Latin America and the UK. My education was a mix of British and American Schools. Post-college, my early career was spent in precision and aerospace manufacturing. After graduate school, I found myself working in Brand Marketing, but when dot.com boom came along, I evolved into a digital marketing, ecommerce, product, and technology leader. I worked on brands like Ancestry, Ofoto, Blurb, Earthlink, Levi’s, Mondavi Wines, Bank of America, and then spent 2 years with EF in the UK. I moved back to work as President of Lynda.com and wrapped up my operator career as head of LinkedIn Learning.

For the last 10 years, I have served on boards, worked on deal teams, and helped companies scale and eventually exit.

When I’m not working or with my family, you’ll usually find me in my garage or at the airport. I enjoy restoring and racing cars and flying airplanes; two hobbies that reward curiosity, patience, and a love of machines and systems, and demand a performance and execution mindset.

Driven By Passion

My career has taken me through many different companies, industries, and growth stages, but one thing has remained constant: a focus on building things that work and teams that can scale them.

I’ve always believed the best results come from clear thinking, strong leadership, and a commitment to doing the work the right way.
